  1. Teamwork works: Any project to be launched and implemented successfully requires multiple minds or various cogs in the wheel, so to speak. As you work towards a reasonable deadline, have a clear-cut view of which team does what and if each team is aligned towards the go-to Live date. 

  2. Do not multitask: So you are a coding ninja? Great. If you are into programming, stick to your skill and leave the software development part to those who are clued in to that.   5. Be time-bound: Punctuality and regimen need to be given their due weightage at your workplace. As you work on time-bound projects, always respect your client’s time and money.

  6. Snooze those notifications: In the highly social online world that we live in, we are thrown various avenues wherein we fritter our time and mind away. Restrict your usage of social media and personal matters while at work. You would automatically portray more integrity and earn your superior’s goodwill. 

  7. Never shy away from questioning: A new client landed on your work pile? Find out all that you need to know about the client and the project. Ask questions, however dull or silly they may seem. Get your doubts cleared and research on any material you may come across. Armed with the best information, you can complete your task easily and efficiently.

  8. Take breaks: Yes, the task at hand is a priority and there’s no way you can afford to take a day off. You could be committed to work and deadlines, but you don’t need to be chained to your desk. Work around the bay you sit in, chat up with a colleague or two, take a short coffee break and get back relaxed as well as energised to your desk.    
      
  9. Posture is vital: With the increasing number of hours that we spend chained to PCs today, we tend to forget the right posture we need to adopt. An ergonomic chair and a tall enough desk should do the trick. How about those handheld devices such as mobiles and notebooks? Hold them at eye level so that you don’t end up slouching your back or straining your eyes.
